Look at Hankook Dynamic Radials. They are an AT tire, which means the tread life will last longer. I have a friend of mine that uses them on his turd, and he got 80K miles out of his last set. That's what made me go with them.
EDIT: On a 2wd, ATs are all you really need. You would be wasting your money by putting them on the front wheels, unless you are going for a look. I have pics of my Hankooks if you want to see them, let me know.

I like mine in so far, havent got into the snow with them yet. Here are some pics of mine. They ran me just over 500 for tires, mount and balance, and road hazard warranty.

I have Dick Cepek FCII's on my truck, would NOT recommend them on a 2wd though.
I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Grand Cherokee 4x4, love them so far. Super performance on wet and dry pavement, very quiet, but has been very good in light mudding and trail riding.
If you plan on taking your 2WD off road much, I'd recommend the Nitto's, if you plan on staying on pavement, then the Cooper's will serve you just as well. It would be a matter of price and personal preference...

With your truck look, I'd say to stay away from the Hankooks. Those look pretty aggressive from the sides. They have a very knobby appearance to them. They are good tires, I had some on my old truck, and one of our managers at work has them on his truck. Many people at work like how they look also. I'd say to go with the Nittos, or Coopers.
What kind of tires do you want? Performance, off-road, general purpose, or just what? What look do you want to achieve with your tires?
