Read many good reviews on the board regarding the Gibson Superflow catbacks & the louder Supertruck systems. I decided to play it safe and get the side swept rear exit Superflow system.....

The drone between 1800-2500 is ridiculous. I heard of drone on 06+ with MDS but I'm and 05.

Questions are:
1) Anyone have the same experience (I've never read it)?
2) Would a small resonator in the stock location help?
3) looking for the gibson rumble and tone but not too loud.....what is the RIGHT system?

 

My sweptside droned until I dumped it after the rear axle.

 

I had a Gibson system once and it droned like crazy. It droned even more than my Flowmasters ever have.

 

I've got a Gibson Swept that dumps behind the pass rear, had it over 2yrs now and it's never droned at all. It actually seems now like it might be getting quieter. I'm afraid my cat might be plugging up.
