oh ****, yea, that truck is wrecked. and that is complete horse**** that they make your insurance pay first. So because I pay more for my insurance and have full coverage, I would get to pay even more if a state truck caused an accident like that?

seems like you guys got the physics of this figured out. that box truck might as well have been a wall. Yes cars have less for crumple zones, but they also have less momentum they have to absorb in this type of collision.

Bad thing is, they will only pay what the book value on the truck is. I found that out on my first wreck.........

You have to take someone to court to get anything that will help you replace it. Kind of sucks....

Well it is an official total and I am buying it back. The next question is should I part it out or fix it? I am also looking at a couple of 1999 1500 4x4's are those any good?
