Default E10 and warranty?

So my manual says not to run E10-10%ethanol blended gas or risk damage to the fuel system. My question is, what's gonna happen in 3 or 4 years to the fuel system? And if it does screw it up, did I void my warranty by using E10 even though I have no choice in the matter since I can't get 100% gas anywhere in this F---ing state?!

Thats a good Q and I would love to hear what the dealer says on that. Can you scan and post the printed page?

Your manual does NOT say that. It says to not run E85.

E10 is 10% ethanol. E85 is 85% ethanol.

Here in Canada at the Shell station, 87 has 10% ethenol, 89 has 5% ethenol and 91 has no ethenol. I run 89 in my truck now. Would there be any benifit to running the 91 without ethenol?

It is said the more ethanol and cleaner fuel and less emissions. However you also lose MPGs which is why I buy my fuel here at Shell where they do not blend it.

In newer vehicles? Reduced fuel mileage. Older vehicles will have problems with seals and rubber bits, but all of that is designed to handle it on newer vehicles.
