I'm buying a lift...
oopps...2002 1500 4x4 QC, and i dont really have a budget, just trying to be responsible about it lol. but i have read a lot of posts on here and read some stuff about some kits containing parts that were better for your stock suspension.
and yea iknow it will look bad if i dont get bigger tires... but im waiting to see if i get a lift or not before i do that/ right now im ridin on some just about bald 285 allterrains, so im def goin bigger either way
If you purchase the Pro Comp kit, you need to also purchase part #56701 which is the transfer case indexing ring. The Pro Comp kit places the CV shafts at really severe angles, often causing premature failure of the front CVs, driveshaft and/or transfer case. This $279 optional component brings the angle down close to stock.
I vote on Rough Country also because it is so cheap. And they have front and rear crossmember drops now too. As for installation costs, I did mine all by myself. Just take the front wheels off, swap the spindles and add the coil spacers and put the blocks or shackles on the rear. Then go get an aligmnent. I have never done one before but I did my own.

And the transfer case indexing ring has nothing to do with the cv shafts. The kit includes drop brackets for the diff that will leave the cv angles at, or better than, stock. The indexing ring is to correct for the front drive shaft angle. And it's included.
