According to Edmunds.com a 2wd Hemi quad cab weighs 5165lbs. So it probably weighs a little more than that, just depends how much stuff you have added on/have inside.

you would need a pretty big scale to weigh that

Curb weight does not include any "stuff". It's the vehicle with all fluids and a full tank of gas.

Also, if you have a scrap yard near you, most of them have a very large scale that you drive up on and get your weight. The one near me charges like $5 for a curiosity weight.

Along with most truck stops along any Interstate. Just look for the big sign that says CAT Scales.

thanks for the input everyone.

i was trying to think of a place to weigh the truck. i could weigh it in september at the track, but i dont want to wait until then, as im going to be playing with a gtech, and adding a CAI, and tuner, and checked for the actual results.

i thought about a truck scale on the interstate, but i dont know that they allow someone with a pickup to just roll up and see what things weigh. back in PA, we could go to the coal depot or whatever its called and weigh things there...thats what we did with the demon and mirada..maybe ill do that.

As long as you're a paying customer, they won't turn you away. Just tell them you're doing a DITY move for a military member, I had to have the "empty" weight of my truck to get paid for the weight of my move.
