Default Paint help

Hello... I have a 2004 reg cab long bed in Almond... Hate the color but got a great deal. Now I am ready to have the bodywork done and have it painted.... But I have a Couple of questions.

1- Are there any paint designs that can make it appear smaller or I guess shorter?
2- I am having it painted by my High school I went to... They are doing it for next to nothing for labor but said if I want a certain type of paint or clear coat I should provide it... What brands give the best results?
3- Can chrome be painted with lasting results?
4- Might be the cheap way, but I am not doing any performance mods so is a functioning hood scoop beneficial... or could I buy the scoops add them to my current hood and just get the looks I want with out any problems??? or should I buy a hood?
5 Last but not least... I want to have the Linex liner re-sprayed because it is in bad shape... Should I do the bodywork and then have it resprayed? or will the liner fill in the dents

Default It is a top Vo-tech school

I have known the teacher for 13 years no so I trust him and I saw the quality of some of the jobs from last year and I saw no runs or peeling.... So they do a good job... and I was one of those punk kids in the Electrical program years ago...

They do have a warranty but the guy I spoke to said it was only for the original owner

yeah, i was one of those punk kids 2 years ago... if you saw quality work, and trust the guy then id go for it.
i knew line-x had a warranty, just wasnt sure of the terms

if you arent going to do any mods, i think a stick on hood scoop would be fine

sorry im no help at all with any of the other stuff... what color do you want to paint it?

I am leaning towards a color I saw on here a few months ago It was a real dark Green if I go with Solid color... But not sure if it is recommended 2 tone... Could be Blue and Silver Combo.... Wanted Red but Brother has that.... and not Patient enough to take care of Black.

I trust the guy because he kicks you out of the program if you are not "in" to painting cars and the jobs were better than some bodyshops I have seen.
