Default Got my SC 3815, what do you guys think of these numbers?

Got my superchips 3815 today. I still have 1/2 tank of gas so i figured i'd try the tow tune until i refuel with 91 octane.
it still wont spin the tires from a stop without the brakes

only motor mods i have are DIY intake and TMR delete. and i have 3.92 gears

Heres the numbers (tow tune):

1/4 mile... 16.2
0-60 time... 7.8

so what do you guys think? pretty good for a stock 03? or should i be doing better?

you do realize the tow tune requires 91 or higher octane fuel as well, don't you?

ya you really need to have a FULL tank of 91 octane for that tune, not half 91 and have 87 or anything. Mine wont spin the tires either, but i do have the 3.92 LSD in it also. does yours?

I would say they are about average for a basically stock truck. Get the right gas in there and run it again.

haha... woops it doesnt say "91 octane required" like it does for the performance tune... unless i missed that

so should i switch to the 87 tune till i run the rest of this gas out?

what kind of times should i be getting with a performance tune?

Redone, i do have 3.92 lsd

yep switch to the 87 tune and fill up with 91. i ran a full tank of 91 on the 87 tune to make sure all the 89 was gone. ever since then though, it stays on the towing tune with 91 octane in it. awesome.

Is the tow tune better than the performance tune? If so, why? More torque and different shift changes...?
