Took me about 3 minutes to change both bulbs out for Silverstars awhile back. It's tight, but nothing like my Mustang was. I would never even consider taking the headlights out for a bulb swap.

Those with the newer '06 and up (me!) have it easy.....the bulbs are easily accessible.

I installed my 8ks today. I installed them without taking out the headlights also because with a brush gaurd you have to take the gaurd off first, too much hassle. The drivers side is very tight but eventually you will get it. My high beams are still halogens, its sad to call them "high beams". They are about half as bright, go half as far, and half as cool as the xenon's!

ive been driving without screws in my headlights holding them inplace for almost 2 weeks. mines seems jammed on the corner. i can get the screws out easy because my front bumper out of alignment so the driver side is lower.

but weedahoe, im gunna try going under the truck, but i doubt i would fit, not that im a fat slob, just mines not lifted.

and for a last solution, do u think the dealer might be able to help me pop out the lights

can you get under there with an 18mm wrench or deep socket and lower your bumper. then you could re-align it, 2 birds. do you have all three screws out? not doubting you but it can be easy to miss on. once you do you will have to pull pretty hard on the outsides they have those little pressure tabs like the tail lights. they will pop out. a dealer or a body shop could probably help
