Default No 180 T-Stat at NAPA

So I called my local NAPA store and they do not sell 180 T-Stats for my Truck... Is this really true?

Just get the stant stat number 14168. Grind a tiny bit off of it and it fits perfectly. It is a 180 degree stat for a mazda but it fits and works fine. Just remember to drill a relief hole in it prior to install.

Probably not. But, These morons they have working at NAPA nowadays are no better than the morons they have at Auto Zone or Advanced. None of the punks could tell you anything about a vehicle if it wasn't posted on the screen in front of them. I swear, you could ask for a valve stem cap and they're gonna ask you what year, make, model and engine size the vehicle is.

lol@that last part Last of the 5.9's that is definitely the truth about what year make, model and size the engine it is.

As far as the 180 stat, order one online and get a Jet i'm pretty sure they make one for your year.

Yep, you won't find a 180* for the Hemi anywhere that doesn't offer "performance" stuff for it. The auto parts stores software will list oem parts only, since the Hemi calls for a 195* stock, that's all they will show.
I have the Jet, picked it up for $27 shipped. A little pricey for a thermostat, but at least it's got a lifetime warranty...
