Default XM or Sirius Radio for 2005 Ram 5.7L

I cannot seem to find a XM adapter so I can use XM radio with my factory head unit for my truck... I don't want to use an external player, I just want to use XM radio with the factory head unit and behind the dash box. I installed one in my wife's Lincoln Aviator and my GMC Sierra a couple of years ago. Just got a Dodge and was looking forward to doing the same but I can't find much info for some reason.

My wife has an XM adapter in her truck so I'd prefer XM so I we can get the discounted add on, but if for some reason XM won't work, then I'd rather have Sirius than nothing at all.

I have the the radio that says 6 Disc changer and RBK if that helps. My truck is 05 Ram 5.7L Quad Cab. Anyone with this truck have XM?? Please help!

Is it a external radio, or? Im not sure if i can answer your question. I have a 04 ram with the stock radio and a external sirius radio. I was getting really bad reception from the built in sirius radio fm transmitter, so i purchased the sirius fm direct adapter. It plugs into sat radio, then to the stock radio antenna jack. The truck radio antenna plugs into this adapter. For this to work, besides buying the fm direct adapter, i had to purchase an adapter for the antenna jacks because they weren't the usual plug in antennas. Since then, its been crystal clear. I purchased this adapter from best buy. They also had a xm adapter. So, hope this helps somewhat......

I think he's looking for the kind that plug into the CD changer control in the back of the stock head unit.
