Default Help me appraise a vehicle

I need your guys' help. I found a truck on the internet that I'm really really wanting to trade my truck in on. But I need you guys to help me value what it's really worth.

The truck is a 2006 Ram 1500 4wd regular cab short bed Night Runner. Truck has 18,058 miles on it, it looks really really nice. KBB for trade in shows $11,125. Retail shows $18,805. They are asking $18,999.
The truck looks really nice, but their is nothing special about it except that it's a Night Runner and has the low miles.
Do you guys think a truck like that is worth that much money?

Try looking it up on edmunds.com TMV. I personally don't see paying that much for a used truck when you could have gotten a new one for a few thousand more, but that is just my opinion.

Just for comparison. Back in January I paid $18,000 for my 06 Laramie 4X4 Hemi Quad Cab with 46,000 miles.

+1. im sure its a sweet ride and all, but its not worth 19k.

by the way semigod, those eyelids look absolutely sick on your truck, especially on top of those black headlights. i wanted to go an all white/black theme on mine and you beat me to it. i love your truck.

I just went with a friend to a lot to look at a car she is interested at buying for her daughter who just started college.
While there, I saw an '07 QCSB Hemi 4x4, Laramie, 21k miles. Price on the window was $18,995. Even though I was there to look at a used Mazda car for my friend, I couldn't resist to ask about the truck. This is my local dealer where they know me well and I've played golf often with the sales mgr.
He told me they had about $14k in the truck and would be able to take about $15k if I knew anyone who is interested.
So I guess my point is, if they have that truck listed at $19k, odds are you can get it for $15k unless they think somebody else is gonna come right behind you and offer more...

You guys are telling me exactly what I'm wanting to hear on this truck. If it's still on there tonight, I'm gonna try to contact them on it. What do you think I should start on an offer?
