Another mod i've been wanting to do is add a cb radio to my truck. I've searched the internet and cant find where people are mounting their cb radios. Does anybody have a cb radio in their 3rd gen ram? If so, can you provide pics. Also, has anybody tried the firestick hood mount for our trucks?

 

I removed the factory cup holders and made brackets that bolted in the mounting holes.

 

i thought about mounting one in mine but the only time i would use it would be hunting season. but what are all those other ones for? i havent done a whole lot of research on this

 

The top one is my CB, next one down is my full function siren w/ PA, below that is a switch box for my lightbar-grille lights-and dash lights, the bottom one is a scanner.

 

Wow, thats alot of equip. Nice setup. Where do you have your antenna at?

 

They both sit just behind the lightbar.

I dont have a CB but I have a low band, UHF and scanner on a wedge console on the floor I will work on a pic in the next day or two for you.

 

i got my radio either velcroed to the dash or i have it mounted on the panel underneath the steering wheel. both are good places to mount. My antenna is mounted to my toolbox in the bed, but i have seen a firestick mount work great
