i bought some cheapos on the net and they were pretty nice... But I had adjust them to a spot you can actually see 10' past the truck and the projector itself is WAY off! Looked like crap, so now im looking to get either back to a after market stock headlight or find a better brand...

to the OP... I have the exact same ones in my truck only difference is I bought them used for about $40 on ebay. And what was wrong with them was that the Halo LEDS had burned out and two of the other LEDs were out too. I just took them apart and replaced the clear Halo LED's with green ones and changed all 12(you only see that it has 10) of the other LED's to amber and wired them to my turn signals. I didnt change them to HID's but did put silver stars in them to brighten them up a bit. The pattern of the projector does take several times of adjusting them to get a good coverage but eventually you'll get it to where you like it.

Are all the one's shown in that link compatable with HID's or would you have to do alot of mod work?

There is no extra work for the HID cause it is a different Housing,, HID run at cooler operating temperatures. The difference is the aftermarket housing may need a different bulb size then stock. Stock is 9007 but the housing I use takes H1Bulbs. Even if it says on it you cant use HID's I bet you can..

So the HID is basically just a replacement bulb that is instead an HID instead of a projector? I'm confused, sorry if I'm gettin off the topic but I don't know much when it comes to headlights and HID's.
