Tuners are great. Bully, Hyptertech and Superchips are all good tuners so long as you don't plan to boost or run custom tunes. If later down the road you change your mind and decide to boost I would go with an SCT or Diablo.

Hopefully Comp cams will start manufacturing HO cams again. You might want to consider cams. HO cams are a direct replacement. 206 cams require lash caps. 212s require beehive spirings, lashcaps and custom tunes. Also think about gears and a performance muffler, something like Borla, cherry bomb, Magnaflow, etc.

Cams, Tuner, Gears and muffler will get you moving.

haven't done it yet, but from what I hear sawpping your gears to 4.56 is a quick and fairly cheap way to get more accel and power.

Gears are good but my 4.10s with install kit was $350. I was lucky, the motor pool guys installed mine for free. The install can cost anywhere from $200 and up.

Once Comp Cams gets the HO cams back on the shelf they run $280 or so on AIR_RAM's site. They are not hard to change out as long as you have a good set of directions and know what you are doing. No doubt, best bang for the buck in my truck were the HO cams.
