Default Hood is ON!!

Well, i just couldnt wait anymore... i wanted to see what the hood looked like in silver on my truck so after a little wet sanding and an hour of buffing its on...
im really diggin it in the silver... im not too fond of bed stripes but think i need a little somethin extra to accent the silver... any ideas? im thinkin maybe a hemi sport sticker in silver on the bed??

and im thinkin about doing something different with my intake so it will benefit some from the extra airflow... ideas?

well heres the pics...

thats looking freaking awesome like that man!!! the silver really doesnt looked out of place and it accents the scoop part really well. as far as intake stuff its a waste of money imo. the srt hood is designed to keep engine temps down and pull the hot air out not draw air in...

Either do a Daytona Stripe in silver or do some silver pin striping from the front all the way to the back.

It looks SICK like that though!!!! VERY VERY VERY NICE!!!!

i thought i had read somewhere that the srt hood pulled hot air out... how the hell does that work?
if i do do an intake, it would be a DIY because i think those are the best, and mine needs a little work anyway
and RH, i would have it paint matched, but i want this to be a cheap mod... time will tell

do you guys think im going to have any issues with the scoop in -30 degree temps this winter??

WOW, every time i post i add another list of questions... sorry

it pulls hot air out bc of how it is designed. thats why very little amounts of water goes in the scoop when its raining. in the winter it will be fine...

It'll work great in the winter. My best friend has a SRT-10 that he drives year round here in Calgary. Never had any issues with it. Mind you his hood doesn't look anywhere near as good as yours does. I love that silver stripe!

he would have to do alot more than just to remove the badging... wheels, bumpers and side skirts...
