depends on what you've added under the hood and which module you decide to go with. I bought the stage 2 from Jet and I love it. I definetely noticed an improvement in torque and HP

TEX,
I am also looking at the super 40, did you buy the whole exhaust kit? was it bolt-on or did you have to cut the OEM pipe before the muffler? You said yours is dual out and it sounds good? I dont have all the mods you have. I have a plain 05 1500, you think the super 40 will sound good on mine too without all the mods?
Thanks.

BlueDodge,
I installed my own power locks and alarm from alarmsellout in ebay. I have pics of the install if you need them. Also, if you use the rubber garment of the hood cable is much easier to pass wires.

Laters.

Tex,
thanks for your info on your mods. I was wondering if that Jet chip would really help or not.Sounds like its worth the $$. Is the exhaust note pretty loud in the cab now? I'm thinking of doing the same except with a Dynomax muffler. I got an price quote on a supercharger for the 3.7 for $4300. Too steep for me.

eltupac - When I put the exhaust on my 02 was stock, and it sounded incredible, since the upgrades it has become a much more meaner sound. If you decide to keep it stock, I guarantee you will be very pleased. All I got was the muffler itself Single in Dual out, it ran 150-175 bucks at one of the muffler stores here. The guy cut the muffler off, welded the new one on, then bent two 6" long 2.5" wide pipes with a 30 degree dump and welded those on in roughly 30 min. Total cost was $250. My opinion....WELL WORTH IT

I'll add picks if you want a better picture of what I am trying to explain

1stRam - I found the module worth the money for a moded engine. The only slight drawback may be the fact that once you add the stage 2 module you have to run 91 or better octane fuel. You have to run the higher grade because the module remaps your fuel and timing charts in the ECU. The good news, the module can be taken off and 87 can be run again until these damn gas prices drop. Overall, I love it!!!! Noticed the improvement instantly. Not sure how much it has improved my MPG yet because I've had to much fun "opening it up"!!!!!!!!!

You're not kidding about steep for that supercharger!!! Yoiu might be better off looking into a ball bearing turbo. roughly $2000. Still steep but power beyond belief. You can also look into a regular turbo. Keep me updated on your improvements!

eltupac - Let me know how the exhaust upgrade goes

Y'all have a good one

What manufacturer did you get your throttle body spacer from; I've asked around and been told there's none available for my 04 1500 v6 3.7L motor.

Tex,
I wrote you in another post. I forgot about this one. I installed the 40 delta. It sounds mean at low RPM's, anything over 3000 and kinda wants to sound like a honda. Another guy is going to try the 50 HD and see how that sounds. I might change it if it doesnt improve after 500 miles.
Thanks

You don't need to run 89 in it.

I have an 05 1500 with a 3.7L Automatic and run 87 in it, it runs best with 87.
