I have an 04 QC in silver. Does anyone know if the outside door molding or bump guards come off? Its all pretty much faded and looks terrible. If they do come off, how? Thanks.

 

I just peeled mine off about an hour ago. Mine's an 02 but they should be the same. Just get your fingers up under one end and peel it off. Then I sat there for about 2hrs scraping the tape off with my fingernails and goo gone. They list a pad and arbor in the 3rd gen faq's section for debadging your truck so I bought one to try it. Started to use it and it was scratching the hell outta my clearcoat. It's a little more work but I just did it all by hand.

 

Yep, I bought some of those guards from a guy off another board too.

 

Wish I'd known people were buying them. Mine went in the dumpster.
