Default First Dodge and wanting to make mods

I just traded my ford f150 lariat for a 05 dodge ram 1500 and i love especially with that HEMI, i want to put a Super 44 muffler but im confused, what size pipe diameter is the inlet and outlet. Also, is the inlet center? offset? is the outlet center? offset? i tried looking under the truck and the big *** muffler intimidated me.

Don't get a flowmaster muffler they may sound good but flow horrible and actually decrease you horsepower. Just get a cherry bomb or some type of glass pack better flow and will add a few more hp.

Borlas Sound great and flow great too! I have a few videos of mine on here just do a search for the XR-1 and you'll see it. If you are dead set on the flowmasters though it should be a 3"in and 2.25 or 2.5 out. Again would not recommend them, most people say they drone like crazy and they do not flow very well either.

Hey now, I cant keep letting you guys bash on FMs. Ive got a SI 3" DO 2.5" Delta 40 FM and it sounds and flows just fine. The Deltas do not have the interior resonance. Aeros are nice but not cheap.

If you are getting a SISO muffler it really doesnt matter if it is offset or center as a good muffler man can work with it. There is enough room.

I'm running the fm super 40 and it is not a bad muffler. There are just a lot of better mufflers out there. If I ever ram my cutout closed I would probably have changed the fm out for a magnaflow by now.
