Only thing I'd be worried about is the seller said they don't know how many miles are on it and can't guarantee it's condition.

At $1200 for a Kennebell complete kit. I'd send it back to them and have it freshened up regardless. In the end you would have a freshly rebuilt Kennebell to slap on your ride for about $2500.
