Default Tranny temp gauge install problem!!

So I picked up my srt10 pillar and the autometer tranny temp gauge today.. And I go to install it in my truck after reading silverbullets diy.. well for some reason my tranny doesnt have the test ports on the right side like he used.. theres round flat parts of the tranny where they should be but no drilled and threaded holes.. WTF.. after looking all over the tranny I cannot seem to find any bloody test ports.. Anyone have any ideas what is going on here and maybe where I might find some test ports!!

they should be on the passenger side, near the front (close to the bellhousing), a couple inches from the top.

Hm I wonder what gauge he has.. I dont really want anything thats plugs in there though cause then itll always be sticking out.. I wanna go with isopro gauges once i get another 3 gauge pod for above the rearview mirror..I just baught the autometer for the tranny since I have a tuner now and figured id keep an eye on things.. I was thinking about putting it in the line coming out for the tranny to the cooler like someone else did on here.. Or bite the bullet and grab a mag hytec pan.. Ill probably go the new pan route... Just a PITA since i have all the stuff and now I cant use it.. I was planning on gettin it in yesterday!!

Yep thats the one I got and it is 100% worth the cost. Its like having 20+ gauges in 1. The plug does not stick out at all either. Real simple plug and play setup too, no tapping into anything!!!
