Hello,
A couple times lately I have noticed that when I turn the key to start my 04 Ram Cummins, the tach and speedo needles jump or spike up to about vertical then settle back down. It has never done this before,anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks

I would check your battery voltage. Low voltage and crappy/loose terminals do strange things on newer cars.

 

Yep, battery is failing.
