Spend a hell of a lot more money than you would if you traded it in on a 4x4...

Why did you buy a 2wd if you want a 4wd truck? Seems like you are setting yourself up for a lot of work to convert over if you decide to do it.

Holy cow! You bought a 4x2 and want it to be a 4x4? Trade it on a real 4x4, and take the depreciation hit.

Best to stick with what you have and deal with it.

i say if u can afford it trade that joker in on a 4x4, the conversion u are wanting to do will cost more in the long run than if u traded it in. hey i have a huge honkin 4x4 i will sell u, slightly used.

I wanted a 4x4 but the dealership made me a heck of a deal and I just couldn't pass it up. I really wish I had the 4x4 for the winter time, but I just deal with it. I looked at converting it as well but it's not worth it at all. If snow is your problem there are some really nice snow tires out these days.
