where is the map sensor 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7

Default where is the map sensor 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7

where is the map sensor 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7? would that cause the truck not to start unless I press the gas pedal. Truck will not idle too. and where is the IAC located at?

HELP!!!

The IAT is on the air intake housing. I would check the TPS and make sure your throttle body plate (butterfly) is clean and no build-up on it.

this is a common problem with throttle bodies in general, the dirt/fuel gunk can make it to where the butterfly stays open a bit, throwing off the fuel air mixture or it might make it stick which you will never feel since there is no longer a cable from your foot to it so you can feel it.

Either way its an easy thing to fix...
