That Darn Squeekin Noise
hey guys not sure exactly what my problem is or could be.. but i leveled my truck off pretty well with the t-bars and did an alignment on it before it was driven. now when im rolling along i get a little squeek comin out of the front end. I adjusted the caster, camber, and toe back to within specs. Just seems weird that it didn't do it going into the shop but did notice it when i left.. What ya think? anyone had this issue as well? oh.. sorry for not mentioning it is a 2003 dodge ram 1500 QC 4x4. 63,000 miles

so i could be looking at wheel bearing/hub issue... or some people have said ball joints but i dont think so. just seems weird to me that just adjusting the t-bars and aligning it could cause a problem..
i just dont get how that could have done anything. all i had to do was adjust the torsion bars a little bit then did an alignment just to be safe. and now i get squeeks and it's not a bad one just something that if the stereo is down you can kinda hear it and it wasn't there when i drove it in..
Mine does it too after the leveling kit. The entire front end is tight so all I can think is maybe it's a shock issue?

Lift your hood and look for the two little black bumpers that are on the beam that runs in front of the radiator. They make contact with the hood to keep it tight when latched and are adjustable. You can turn them clockwise and counter cw.
Turn both of them about a 1/4 of a turn in the same direction. See if that eliminates the squeaking. If it does...you are good to go for a little while. Eventually the squeak might return and you will have to put some kind of felt or something where the bumpers contact the hood.
I had a squeak that sounded like something was jiggling and it drove me nuts. I started messing with everything until I adjusted these and it stopped.
Good Luck!
