Oh god that Aeroturbine sounds good I think that's what I'll go with. Either that or a Cherry Bomb of some sort. I have heard too many bad things about FM's (no offense weed) but I wouldn't buy one.

I have a Flowmaster 70 series, and it is one of the best deep sounding mufflers I've heard. It's not overly loud in the cab, but out the exhaust it sounds great. I love the sound, but want a cutout so that I can make it a little bit louder.

 

I put the Flowmaster 40 series on my truck and it is def loud. I understand where your coming from cuz mine is just the stock pipe to the muffler then there is nothing after it. at 2000+ all you can hear is the famous "Hemi Roar" as I like to call it. I personally like it but it can get annoying if ur on the phone or tryin to have a converstation with someone. but as far as another suggestion i have no idea. Out of the guys im the only one with a dodge. Everyone else is running chevy's or diesels.

 

Go borla, no drone, nice and loud... I even have my old borla catback which is much quieter than the one I have on now is if your interested, SI/DO tips exit behind the rear wheels.

 

The FM 44 drones like all hell. Get a Cherry Bomb Vortex or Extreme, great sound, and they don't drone.

 

I just ordered a Cherry Bomb Extreme. Got it for 50$ shipped. Im having it installed this weekend. Ill let you know how it sounds...

 

I have the AeroTurbine 3030XL and love it. I simply had the guy at the shop cut the old muffler out and put the 3030XL in its place. I also left the stock resonater on. Here is a link to a few vids of it.

Glasspack!!!

I have a neighbor w/FM on his Avalanche and it drones like hell ... I have never even ridden in his truck! Just the drone from hearing him go down the road is enough to keep me away.

My glasspack, 3" si/so, kept all the stock pipe and cat, has a 1950ish truck sound at idle and cruise. She rattles real good and loud when you push it hard and when at highway speeds there is no drone. You do hear it a bit in the cab but not a drone.

A glasspack is just like an old stump ... tough as hell and you know what ya got! You want to turn heads? Smack down throttle and you will turn heads for a block!

Glaspack???? Drone's like hell on my Exploder. So much i am going to put the stock muffler back on. A glasspack also was terrible on my Silverado. Drone was unbearable going up hills. Pulled that off as well. Went magnaflow on my mustang and Ram. No drone. Get lots of compliments. Deep throaty tone and not over the top loud. Very subtle at idle.
