Default engine/ starter question

Trying to start the engine on my totaled truck but can't get it to turn over, starter doesn't do anything. Ignition and everything works fine and no fuses are blown. Is there a cutoff switch that disables the starter after an accident?

Try hot wiring the starter by dropping it off the engine and going straight to the battery with it. Or take it in to AZ or somewhere like that to have it tested. If im not mistaken there is a fusable link on them.

Would be easier to use a meter or test light to check for voltage to the main wire and small solenoid wire while someone turns the key to the crank position.
What year truck?
