Default Headunit - Audio Opinons Please

I really don't know much about what's good and what's not but a few of my friends work at best buy, one of them in car audio and he says to go with pioneer, alpine or kenwood. I'm not looking to spend a crazy amount of money on audio though, I want to get a head unit by Christmas and then buy maybe 2 subs and an amp in the spring right before summer. He showed me this one right here: (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218063831559) which looks like a pretty damn decent head unit to me, just wondering if anyone has this head unit and tell me how it is or could point me towards some other good head units out there?

Thank You

I've had the chance to play with that H/U before. They are very stout and well made. Personally, I push Pioneer/Premier just like semigod. I just think they are about the best bang for your buck. I have the older brother model to that deck that you posted, and it has been a complete gem for me the whole time I've had it in my truck.

For decks, you can't go wrong with Pioneer or Alpine.
What are you doing for speakers????

Honestly, I'm not too sure yet, I want to probably get two truck boxes and put subs in them but I don't know what type yet. Not sure if I really want to take out the stock speakers as of yet, I'll probably have to see what it sounds like when everything is all hooked up first.
