im looking for the plug for the controller under the dash and cant find it. my truck has the tow package. all I can find is 4 cut wires that are purple with stripes. is this them?

 

The connector is in front of the parking brake pedal, up against the firewall. I haven't looked at the connector since I unplugged the controller. Sounds like someone removed too much, or the connector wasn't installed.

 

what gets me is the pigtail I got from dodge uses heavier guage wire than the 4 purple wires they are only about 18ga wire
