Refining the truck's look
Thanks to GetRammD, I've got the killer DODGE across the top of the windshield.
Installed the black bull bar and nerf bars.
Just ordered black vinyl racing stripes for the hood, cab, and tailgate.
Found a great post on here about how to debadge your car and ordered the pinstripe removal tool for that to take the RAM 1500 off the sides.
Also looking for someone with a silver Dodge with a body colored grill surround that wants to trade for my chrome one.
Should be a nice look. Any ideas or thoughts?
At some point, there will be a lift kit and black rims as well.

Looking good so far. If you are going with black wheels you might want to think about black housing head lights and blacking out the tails. It would look good on your truck if you are going for a black and silver theme.
Good call on the bumper, might as well lose all the chrome. The truck will look better once it is all gone.

I saw the thread on here about how to blackout the headlight bezels, just haven't decided if I'm that brave yet. I've also seen the headlight eyelids. I'll have to look a little closer at that. My concern was getting them painted to match the truck. I haven't figured out what to do about the bumpers yet, but color match is probably going to be it. Excellent suggestions, thanks!
The nerf bars are the Dominator II series, the bull bar is a SmithyBuilt. I got both of them on www.truckaddons.com. Seems like the nerf bars were just over 300 and the bull bar was half that.

I had thought about painting the stock 20's or getting them powder coated. There's a place here local that will do them for 75 a wheel, but I want to go to a 17" rim like a lot of others are doing to get the cost of tires down. The money I can save on tires pretty much makes up the difference on rims.
