I actually like the looks of that how did he run that? Is it goin through the airdam or whatever its called? Any ideas what an SRT bumper bull bar and paint would cost me?
yeah on this specific one it looks like he went through it probably did some fabricating, the first one i saw (witch i am looking through hundreds of ram pics on my computer for right now) it was the same bull bar but was longer so it bolted wider were the bumper meets the speed mesh. i got mine at cervinis.com but i paid alot less i looked at it earlier and its like $625 so hopefully you find one on ebay or a junk yard you never know maybe a ram got rear ended! depends on the bull bar powder coated or not $100-$300 a really sick idea would be to mount it from underneath so it comes out then up! painting urethane is tricky so a auto place would probably want like $500 but it paid off for me, on the passenger side at the bottom i got caught up on this little dip and bent it clear back it looked like i was in a horrible accident, took the back braces off and it went right back to its original shape and the paint still looks new no cracks flakes or nothing!
From what I have heard, those road armor bumpers weigh a ton, the SRT-10 bumpers are nice but to me they do not flow right on a truck without the rest of the SRT-10 body kit. They just stick out like a sore thumb to me. They are to low and do not flow with the rest of the trucks lines. Thats just my opinion on them though, if you like them you like them, its just for me.
As far as taking it mudding, I wouldn't, specially if you are keeping it stock height. It would break off the second you hit something with a little resistance.
