Im really liking the look of the SRT-10 bumpers but I'm not gonna go buy an SRT-10. I have looked around at the bumper kits for like 600 bucks. I have the regular chrome bumper with the little plastic overlay over the top (not the sport one). What would I need to do to put one on. Could I just put an overlay over mine or would I need to have the sport bumper to do that. I just wanna do it for less than 7 or 800 if at all possible. Also I like to play in the mud a little bit would this be a bad thought?
I still don't know I'm torn between two ideas. Either SRT-10 bumper or Road Armor. I'm gonna get some 4.10's and some performance mods in the coming months and I want some more speed to satisfy my right foot. Idk how much a Road Armor would slow me down.

well dude... i have been looking around for ya and it seems the price has gone up on that bumper since i bought it a few years back so keep lookin for the bumper on ebay or something, if you paint it your self (that will saved about $500) its very simple to put on, theirs this piece of plastic you rivet to the top center of the bumper frame and that's what the srt-10 bumper screws into to the top, there is also some pieces of plastic that screw to the bumper that screw to the bumper frame. only thing is you will have metal covering the air dam cause the way it mounts, and i have personally seen mudders with that bumper and some had bull bars over it!
To be honest I don't want to lift or lower it. If I lowered it I would go with the whole SRT setup. Hood, bumpers and side skirts. With the Road Armor I would just leave it and never worry about fender benders again.

If you have any pics of that I want to see what it looks like. But when I say I go mudding occasionally I mean I have done it two times since I bought the truck two years ago. But then again I really like the idea of having to feel sorry for the person that runs into my bumper.
