If you need to keep steps on your truck how about replacing what you have with some nerf bars?

if you dont have any tire cleaner get some soapy water, get your rag good and wet and go grab a hand full of sand with the rag. just dont use it to wash your truck or rims afterwards. usually will get anything off tires.

I'm thinking about removing the runner's and putting some steps instead. Just a single step instead of nerf bars, cheaper and have a little more clearance. I'll try to clean up the tires tomorrow and post some pics to see what you think. It seems like new scratches show up everyday on it and I swear I am going to kill every cat in my neighborhood. They get on my hood and roof and use it as a scatching post. The pellet gun is waiting!

If I didn't live in town I would get out my .22. Think the police would get suspicious if once a week you heard a gunshot go off? lol Now that it's waxed it's gonna get worse cuz when they try to climb on it they'll slip and dig into the paint to stop from falling. I have witnessed that happening.

Today I'm gonna get some tire shine and take a scrub brush too em. It will be a while before I have the money to replace the side runner's with steps.

Heres today's finished product. I found a brush and went at it. Got the grime off and shined em up with some armor all tire gel.
