Where did you buy yours from?

 

I think it was through DMH, because they were the only website I could find that sold 2 1/4"

 

Unless you plan on fabbing up your own dump pipe or buying one somewhere else, get the flowtech. I forget how long my cable was when I ordered it, but I know it is longer than the standard length that it typically comes with.

 

on their website they said they need the length and that a cable doesnt come with it. Ill figure it out. If you had to estimate the length of your cable, what do you think it would be? 6ft?3ft?

 

Much longer than that, the cable has to reach from the switch in the cab to the motor on the cutout valve. I am thinking mine was something like 15 feet.

If you call DMH directly they are very helpful. If you run a piece of string from where you are going to put the switch to where you are putting the cutout you can then measure it and find out how long of a cable you need.

nice. i want one now. lol. im going to do the string thing tomorrow. also, is it easy to mount the switch. do they send directions on mounting the switch? probably not.

 

I don't remember if they sent instructions or not with the switch. If they did, I didn't use them. I mounted the switch in the cigar lighter spot. That way I could use the wiring that was already there and had a nice fused power source to hook the switch to. Here it is.
