It depends on where you are gonna put it, but like teach said if it is after the y pipe it should be 3"

Definitely make sure you verify the length of cable, they sent me 10ft I think and it was about 10ft to short (and thats on a regular cab!!), you'll be surprised how long of cable you really need.

Also the cig lighter was a PITA to get out and away from the plastic ring its mounted in if you decide to reuse it. Other than that though the installation was a breeze. One thing to remember about them though is that you cannot shut them at high rpms and opening them at high rpms (over 1500 I believe) can slap them open, both way will burn the motor out and cause it to slip.

Just thought about this, if you want it a little louder idle you can also see about throwing some LT's in there, they change the note of the exhaust a bit as well

man you all are wasting your money lol I just cut the exhaust after the Y pipe for my cutout and I love it The look on some peopls faces when I floor it is awesome and also lets them know to stay out of the way but it has a great idle and doesnt really bother me on the res in the cab
I have taken a couple 3 hour trips with it and it is not that bad and people have been able to sleep in side of the truck while driving on the highway but they stirred a little but when it would down shift going up a hill or passing someone
I will try to get up a video in the next day or 2 to let you listen to it and if you get anxious just cut the pipe ahead of time to get a sample of how it sounds
