Default I need it louder!!!!

Alright guys,

Well my birthday is this thursday and Im making a list of things that I want to buy for my Ram to treat myself. I have the flowmaster super 40's on right now. Its just a SI/DO setup. What can I do to have it at Idle louder? Also, Im thinking about purchasing 2 Cherry Bomb Extremes. So, anyone with suggestions fell free to leave me a comment.

Thanks,

Erik

loudest your gonna get is straight pipes no cat. get two 2.5" all the way back it will deffinitely **** off any of your 'elderly' neighbors.
or just get glasspacks about 20" or so and it will be just as loud as straight pipe just not as high and crackely, more deep

or if you just want to keep your 40s, have the cat taken off

The extreme doesn't idle that loudly, in fact, it's pretty tame if there is a constant flow, it's only when you get on it that it screams.

why not just get a cut out? I am glad I went that way because i can have it loud when I want it loud and a nice low rumble when I want a nice low rumble. I would go nutz if it was loud all the time specially on long trips.

oh hell believe me my dakota 4.7 is straight piped and i did a 11 hour drive each way to MD and back WITH THE WINDOWS UP AND SYSTEM GOING and it still got on my nerves, not as much as my mom though its rediciously loud, i am truly suprised i have not gotten a ticket yet.

Should I get the electronic cut out or the regular on where I just unscrew it to get it off?

yes the one with flow tech I think they all come with the same length wires. Check around you might be able to find it cheaper some where else.
