Default Question about torsion key leveling kit.

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with or knew anyone with a torsion key leveling kit. I purchased one but now im hesitant to install it on my 2004 1500 5.7 hemi due to someone telling my that rams are known for having bad vibration problems upon take off, and to the point that they tear apart axels over time. My whole purpose is te be able to fit 35" tires. I was told that it was most common in diesel models but it was a 50/50 chance with the hemi models. Any help anyone could throw out there would be awesome. Thanks

The people telling you this don't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground. "Death Wobble" is usually experienced in the 2500 and 3500 series solid axle Dodge Trucks.
Although many do have poor experiences with handling after putting coil spacers in the 06+ 1500's as well.
Leveling keys (and the FREE torsion key bolt crank) will stiffen the front end a bit, resulting in a bit harsher handling truck, but you shouldn't experience any dangerous effect, unless of course, you have other issue with your front end...

+2 ...The trick is to get torsion keys that DO NOT stiffen the ride, but only "re-index" the torsion bars in relation to the stock position to achieve the lift. Cant say what brands those might be because i've never bought keys. But i like stiffer ride that comes from cranking the bolts

Before I found this site I thought that was the only way to level my truck. So I bought the keys, and when I took the old ones out the only difference was the new ones are heavier. I still had to crank the bolts 1/2 to 3/4 inch. the replacement keys are a waste of money!

Oh yeah that re-indexing CRAP does not work! Still stiffens the ride! Still cranks the bars, that is the only way to get lift!!!!

Today i just said screw it and cranked the bolt on the stock keys to get the 2 1/2 inch lift to level it and fit some sweet 35-12.5-20 toyo open country MD's. They fill the wheel well up perfect and the ride isnt bad at all. Now i got a set of keys to sit in the basement with all the rest of the parts. Thanks everyone for the help.
