Yeah, that was the problem right there. 3:92's with 35" rubber. You would need a 4:15 gear ratio to compare to a 33" tire with 3:92's which still isn't enough as far as I'm concerned. By running 35's on a 3:92 gearset you effectively dropped your final ratio to 3:70 when compared to 33" rubber.
33" rubber should have 4:10's. 35" should have 4:56's. Those 2 are very comparable to each other for pulling power.
4:56's w/35" rubber is same as 33" rubber w/4.30 gears

recap- 35" tires w/3:92 gears makes it like you have 3:70 gears because the extra height in the tire.

Getting 7mpg is because of that. if you raised your final gear, you would have increased your MPG's while towing.

man dirty cant you see the man wants a megacab diesel the gear info is useful but its not what he wants... A HEMI just gets bad gas mileage pulling it up and down the mountains all the time doing the harwork which it can but a diesel will act like hes going across kansas all the time

That MC diesel will be awesome and one hell of a truck good hunting sir

I know regardless of what i say or do, he will buy what he's been itchin for.
I was just giving free info out on why his truck was doggin out, not to mention there are lots of guys who may see this post and it will be helpful to them.

I could imagine how the whole Tire/vibration issue got the best of the man. Something like that would leave a sour taste in my mouth as well. Sorta kills the spirit that maybe you once had with the rig. Well, it usually does...lol

Yeah I have no idea what the vibration is i've spent alot of money in balancing, road force balancing witch did help some, switching tires and rims but it's all good, i'm sure 4:56's would have been great.
