ive pretty much scrapped everything you see here and im going in a totally different direction.
im going to use the stock lid, drop in k&n, and direct intake tube for pure ram air power.
i will take lots of pics so you can all make fun of me again.. lol

well thanks! but that setup i had was really just not working right, i didnt think everything through , i was losing all my forced air through that air filter... and was sucking up hot air...

If you meant what i had said about the filter pulling in hot air and if you had a filter element where the box is or whatever I said...?? That's not making fun of you. I always have constructive criticism that is meant to help you, not to poke fun at you. i know it's hard to decipher written text as such, but that's the truth.
I must say, you've got more will power than i do to fab up something creative. I'm actually staging a HID project out like Weed is, but nothing that drastic.

thanks guys, i was just kiddin about making fun... i understand criticism and appreciate it. trying to get this thing done today, this pneumonia has really gotten me down, trying to work up some energy, ive done tore apart everything and now all i wanna do is nap, so hopefully by dark i will be done and have all the pics up... gotta get some more mt. dew amp. hopefully that will help.

constructively...that current setup needs to go. I'm glad you realized this.
Why not just take out the section with the filter and replace it with a straight pipe? drop in the K&N at the top of the airbox you got there.
