Datalogging.
Unless you feel a drastic loss in power, datalogging is usually the only way.

How does that hyperpac go about figuring out the HP at the crank and at the wheels? Do you have to enter a percentage of loss through the drivetrain or does it just go by a standard percentage?

on the 5.9 the iat sensor is screwed into the kegger (intake manifold) on the front left side. if you get a 1/4" npt pipe plug you can unscrew the iat from the kegger and put it in the intake tube and use the pipe plug to plug the original hole....(magnum engines)

Just picked up all the parts for this. Gonna try it on mine. Did you run a wire between the resistor and the connectors? I'll let you know what the butt dyno says. I've got a V6, so the power gains/losses should be more noticeable than with a bigger motor.

Take the resistor and solder two pieces of wire to it. Go outside and cut ONE of your IAT wires and crimp each wire of the resistor to each wire of the IAT. Then reset the PCM. If you want to make it right, use insulated male/female quick dicsonnect (spades) so you can take it on and off as you like. Keep in mind the P/W works at WOT.

yeah. the shrink wrap is covering the resistor. i just made 5 at once since i had it all out and it took a minute for each. then i just handed them out to local people. i think i have one left. weed do the wires have to be a certian length? i think i would like to cut mine to be as short as possible

No specific length. I made mine only about 3" on each side of the resistor. You dont want it too long because if you are going to do like me and put them in wier loom, you need somewhere to put that wire and 12" on each side would obviously be too much.
