I have a 03 Ram 1500 with 4.7L with 17" stock rims I would like to know if I would have to make any mods to anything if I put 20" rims on it

yup ya have to enlarge the inside of your tire all the way around by 1.5" with some tin snips, or better yet a oxy-acetelyn torch...remember measure twice, cut once...she'll fit like a glove!

My tires are bigger than the curbs FTW! Just get your speedo reconfigured.

Yeah, some trucks came with 20 stock so you wont have to do anything. The good new is you can find 20" tires all day on ebay and Craigslist for cheap.

Thumbs up

Made same move and with the 3.55 gears, really did not notice the loss of acceleration. The speedometer is off about 5%, but I'm still covered by the 7/70 warranty, so I did not correct it and look at it as a bonus.
