Winter! There is no such thing as winter anymore. We are over due of a bad winter.
I talked to few few folks around here and we all feel the same.... We're gonna get dumped on this year! I am not looking forward for lake effect to drop on us this year...
where I live is basically a target for the jet stream as it blows over lake Ontario!

Hi neighbor! I have a buddy who lives on Lot 10 Road in Palermo and when we work nights, we watch the snow dump there and we get nothing in Oswego.
I hope we get pounded with snow. I bought the plow used in May 2008 and loved it last winter.
guess its solved no plow for me on this truck. my buddy has a commercial western 8ft blade on his 2002 chevy silverado 1500 and it does just fine. i shoulda bought a 2500. we have a few jeeps around here plowing mainly the older ones

Don't beat yourself up about it. I had a Chevy Silverado 2500 prior to my Dodge Ram and noticed right away the ride quality difference. My Ram feels almost "floaty" like in comparison.
First time Dodge owner and so far I'm really enjoying the ride, the power, better mpg's vs my 410 gear'd 6.0 Chevy, but I couldn't see lifting a 8ft V-plow loaded with snow without the front bumper touching the ground on my 1500 now.
You can put a plow on anything(and you've probably seen a few examples of a few that shouldn't have plows), but it's better to stick with vehicles with beefier front ends, drivetrains etc.
