I like the looks of both of those.. I've been trying to figure out which type to get for my truck.. I like the looks of the hinged fiberglass ones, but it would be too much of a pain in the butt when I want to haul stuff to have to take it off. I am thinking about a roll-up vinyl kind, but I like the ones that are hinged as well. Anyone notice any fuel mileage improvement with their tonneau?

Cal, the one I have is a roll up and it works great, the materials used are really strong and easy to install, and being an x-contractor its good to carry crap around without the cover getting messed up... and yes I did notice a diff in mileage so far... its about 13.5 city, and was 12.2 before...not much but some...I havent taken it on a road trip yet but will let you know when I do.....
The price is good too... check out their site....... www.truckexpressions.com and look for Extang Tonneau covers.....
Good luck.........GUIDO

Nice cover I think I'll get one of those looks pretty good and it's better than driving w/ your gate down for that extra mpg!
Beautifull RIMS!! very nice [sm=drooldude.gif]

Yes, I have noticed a gas mileage gain with the cover. It went up a little over 2mpg on the highway....a little over 1 in town. Hey, its something. The Truxedo Lo Pro also has adjustment screws as it breaks in to keep it tight so the wind doesn't cause it to ripple too much on the highway. I've had several different covers over the years and this is the first for me that doesn't ripple and bubble down the highway on me.

Also, it has an entire 'header' that snaps in place to close and unlatchs to 'open' and begin to roll up. Difficult to explain, but there is no bar on the tailgate to remove and the bows roll up with the cover since it is completely flat.. If you find a place that sells these you can check out the display.

It was about $400 installed, but worth every penny IMO.

I'm probably gonna go with the Access Limited edition roll-up cover when I get mine. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Your extang looks good though.

Sorry for no pics...Hoz's pic is the deal on the Truxedo...also go to Tuxedo.com for more pics and details. I really like the features he mentions such as the adjustable tightening and integral cross bars (so they aren't loose rolling around when rolled up). Not the cheapest, but very good quality. I can't speak about the other ones but I'm definately happy with the Truxedo.
