Yea, I had it towed and while I had it towed I talked to the tow truck driver and he said the same thing. Get the Vin and take it to the dealership and they can cut a new key. So $250 saved in parts plus time. I guess the ignition switch is on a National Backorder, so Dodge had no timeframe to get that part in. At least the parts guy pointed to NAPA saying he "thinks" they still have that part available.
