Been reading about re-gearing, im puttin a 5 1/2in lift on my mega cab and want to run 35's. if i regear it to lets say 4.56 or 4.11 wont that really suck gas on interstate running 70mph. Looking for any advice thanks
4.56 isnt offered in that rearend. 4.`0 is the best you can do (as mentioned before in the thread). I didnt notice any real change in mpgs from gears on the highway. You WILL have a pretty substantial drop from the bigger tires though.
i completely agree. those megas were designed to be lifted. they look ok stock, but definitely 100x better lifted. thats a great choice for a lift. very well built and not a bad price. You'll defintely wanna go 37's with it, and 4.10's to help turn them. RamHunter is rollin 37's with 4.10s so hit him up with questions. haha yeah i just volunteered him
