I actually had a hell of a time finding a Laramie in '04 WITHOUT the AWD option here in the south!
I knew I'd be lifting the truck as I do with ALL my 4x4 trucks, and if you look at most (if not all of the lift kits) they state specifically, "cannot be installed on AWD Dodge Rams"...

Yah I didnt see any AWDs when I was buying my truck but my buddy bought his and it has AWD. He likes it for his wife in the rain/snow but its deffinitely not something id want on my truck..

I also have the AWD in my '05 slt. It gets up and goes as well as the gas. About 14 avg. It is still a lot of fun especially with the hemi
