Hey all! I lost my husbands keys to his 2004 2500 this afternoon. They were sitting on the back of my car (unknown) and must have slipped off somewhere in our neighborhood. I'm worried someone will find the keys & key remote...with our house keys & boat keys. AHHHH I'm getting the house rekeyed in the morning....

Question is....is there any way to disable the key remote so if anyone found them they couldnt go around pressing the buttons & find out its our truck & steal it?

Hubby is out of town so I'm lost on what to do...

please help!

 

If you have tools, remove the battery and lock the truck up. That is if its unlocked now otherwise you wont be able to pop the hood, if its in the driveway ,park a car behind it. Hopefully you can find your keys
