Default 06 Hemi engine in a 05 ram?

Anyone know if I can fit a hemi out of 2006 ram 1500 in a 2005 ram 1500 truck? I have a chance for a bad 2006 hemi engine for $200.

I was thinking of buying it, Rebuilding it and building up, maybe even stroking it. You know, p&p things, forged parts, better cam, etc...

It should be a bolt in, but you will need a good shop to get the proper tune and have the computers communicating with each other.

Should work fine, Just reuse your coils and plug wires.

It will bolt right in, you will need to use the sensors from your 05, plus your coils/valve covers. You will also need to disable or remove the MDS components.
