boosting can all be done, i'm sure. just take your motor out, and completely over hual it. cams, newer/stronger lifters, rods...pistons, etc.

wilfius...why drop a 5.9 into it? my truck was tearing one up time after time at union grove last winter. my truck was stock at the time, except the gears and exhaust. i'm pretty sure that my truck COMPLETELY stock would have taken a 5.9.

Default so stock might work...

I think the main reason I suggested dropping in a larger motor was another post you made about putting a bigger engine in the truck that failed after it was boosted too strong on stock parts.

Plus maybe I'm just stuck with the mentality that the V8 would put out SIGNIFICANTLY more power than the V6. I'll look into the whole overhaul for the V6 idea tho....

Here's a question: What about true dual exhaust? How would work with a turbo? It's NOT true dual, but I was curious if that would be better than single.

Duals would work, but you still need a cross over....like an H pipe or X. Top it off with some cut offs and JBA headers. May I suggest a single or a set of Electic hair dryers.
I myself is work'n with this idea of just good old forced air.

Why would you put all that money into a 3.7l v6 that puts out what 150 horses. I own a 6 and there's nothing wrong with it I love mine. But they will never be fast save your money and put it into something else. Sorry if I affended anyone just seems dum a 6 does not belong on a track.

They would have to put out with constriction. When you put your hand over a leaf blower...it doesnt blow your hand off...it start's heat'n up.

I would agree with your point...but, on the other hand...its so much fun stump'n people. Few years back when I met a few srt10 owners at the Mopar Nationals....I pulled up and had heads turn'd...they started place'n bets on what was under my hood. They where blown away by my 6. It sounds tough and its not bad on the strip. I still cant get my tires planted. but, when she does hook...shes not lazy.

There's one MAJOR difference between the V6, and any other dodge powerplant. Weight. The V6 has to weigh a whole crap load less than the V8s and especially the V10s. Not to mention that the weight distribution is so much better, and it's much easier to work on!

you would think xanadu....I believe doing any type of work on any motor these days take a whole lot of reading. Hell, I have 2 bibles...one from Chiltons and the other from Chrysler.
