Default exhaust conversion 05 to 09

I was wondering if the rear bumper from an 09 with the exhaust cutout's in the bottom would fit an 05. I imagine there would be so way to retro fit it with the exhaust but have no idea how. any thoughts??

the bumpers are different the 09 wrap around the bed. it may clear the bed. you could always get a cutting wheel or plasma cutter and cut you current bumper. then paint to match. your exhaust shop would be able to match your duals up to the holes or ask before you cut so you will know where to place them. just get a single in dual out muffler. should be a pretty simple diy mod

Or you could go out the sides if it doesn't fit like I plan on doing.

The '09 will not fit. The bumper mounts are different. Maybe you are a good welder??

anything will fit if you have time, patience, and a good selection of tools. and maybe a dab of ingenuity

Bumpers won't match-up...I checked w/a dealer last week because I wanted to add an '09 bumper w/the dual cut-outs to my '08. Dealer said new generation '09-up bumpers won't fit '08-down generations.
